The vote: three years of hard work bear fruit

The Native Hawaiian Vote traces its roots to legislation introduced in 1993-shortly after Hawaiians commemorated the 100th anniversary of the overthrow. OHA had introduced legislation asking for a convention on Hawaiian sovereignty.
