Description

The Easter Island (Rapa Nui) sources of the written language are represented by more or less well preserved wooden tablets, which are 13 in number, one staff or warder with numerous hieroglyphs on it, 8 ill-preserved tablets (rather fragments of tablets), one breast ornament (rei-miro) with hieroglyphs on it and the records of a native Tomenika made on paper.
